I’ve been hoping to see good feng shui books for young people. I don’t think you can be too young (or too old) to learn feng shui. I recently taught a feng shui class to third and fourth graders at Innovations Public Charter School in Kona, and they were very excited to learn about it. Teen Feng Shui by Susan Levitt is the first of its kind. It emphasizes the bagua, which is reasonable, since most teenagers only have control over their own bedroom.
I especially like the annotated book recommendations at the end of every chapter, and the chapter on clutter. Teens can be prone to clutter, and the habit can then be a drag through one’s life. Nip it in the bud. Her suggestions are very doable. There’s a wonderfully succinct section on common problems such as poison arrows and bed and desk location.
The closing section on Chinese astrology makes this book very well-rounded and useful.
