Feng Shui for Hawaii was published in 2008. In it I focus on the most frequently encountered problems in Hawaii, with multiple solutions. It starts with the exterior, then the architectural features inside, then the furniture and appliances, and lastly, decorative objects. As Carole Hyder has noted below, as well as the reviews on Amazon, this book is applicable anywhere. It's my first book with full color photos throughout and they really do help make the information much more understandable.
Watermark Publishing, Honolulu, bookshawaii.net, (toll-free 1-866-900-BOOK), color photos, paperback. Now available for Kindle. It is also available in a Japanese-language edition.
"I highly recommend Clear's book about feng shui in Hawaiian homes. His information is excellent, accurate, and very easy to understand and apply. This beautiful book fills an important gap in how to specifically apply feng shui principles to the unique homes of Hawaii."

"Clear Englebert has taken the timeless concepts of Feng Shui and uniquely applied them to Hawaiian specific considerations. The chapters are succinct as well as visually appealing, moving from outside aspects to inner architectural and design factors. Even though Clear sprinkles the text with Hawaiian phrasing and discusses such things as the impact of crashing waves coming up on Hawaiian beaches, the book still has a universal appeal to anyone wanting to learn more about Feng Shui, whether dealing with an island setting or a strictly urban environment."

"Decorating isn't usually my thing. But lately I have been trying to get my home in order and pleasing to my eye. In the past I have read many books on decorating and have, as usual, remained confused, uninspired and done nothing. I have also found books about feng shui fascinating but confusing. However, the book, Feng Shui for Hawai'i is different. It isn't confusing at all. It isn't a book that dictates the latest decorating trends and will soon be obsolete. This book is very user friendly. The photography is absolutely beautiful and the diagrams are extremely helpful. The author explains everything in detail without being boring. I find myself being inspired and thinking I can actually do this.
I am in the process of redoing our bathroom and am constantly referring to this book when I don't know exactly what to do. One of my favorite parts of the book is the author's suggestions and practical solutions with photos and diagrams to every room in your home. It even has solutions for the outside of your home. It's not a book for just residences of Hawaii but for homes everywhere. I live in the south and find this book very helpful.
Feng Shui for Hawai'i by Clear Englebert is a must have reference book for me. "

"This is the most user friendly book on Feng Shui I have ever read. I bought it while living in Hawai'i and I am continuing to use it while in Northern California. The basic information applies in any location and this book is filled with beautiful photographs, especially helpful for those of us who learn best and most quickly visually. I was fortunate to hear Clear Englebert speak while I was in Hawai'i and he writes in the same engaging and solution oriented manner. This is the first time I have felt both inspired and confident to make the necessary changes without feeling I need to make a significant time or financial investment first."
