Not only is this a very nice introduction to feng shui in general, but it also breaks new ground for the Western use of feng shui. Many of the floral arrangements are quite modern, even perhaps avant garde. The pictures of these arrangements (which also show the steps along the way in making the arrangements) open up your mind as to the possibilities of flowers to enliven areas of your home. The concise chart of all four elemental cycles on page 170 is excellent---a lot of wisdom packed into a nice small chart.
