Stephen Skinner & Mary Lambert - Feng Shui for Modern Living
Rating

The first half of this book introduces basic feng shui concepts such as yin/yang, the five elements, the pa kua, clutter clearing, and the eight aspirations. There is also a section, "Balancing your inner body energies," where they briefly discuss Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, shiatsu, tai chi and macrobiotics.

The second half deals with how to actually feng shui your home, in sixteen steps. The authors take us room by room, and then to the garden. The last few pages of each room are devoted to "feng shui style file," which discusses such things as lighting, chairs, rugs and storage.

Stephen Skinner is the publisher of Feng Shui for Modern Living magazine, and the photographs often show very trendy furniture and interiors.
