These "style" books have been coming out for years now. Although they are not a way to learn feng shui, they are visual treats, to see how (primarily rich) people live around the world. This particular book is a joy to behold because of the time-honored use of tropical materials such as bamboo and capiz shells. I'm a fan of art nouveau, and was pleasantly surprised to see how it flourished in the Philippines. Anyone living in the tropics, or wishing to add tropical elements to their home, should visit this book.
