This a small, gift-type book with the subtitle Easy Feng Shui Tips for Getting Organized. It doesn’t aim to present a comprehensive program for dealing with clutter, but instead has piece-meal tips. Folks with clutter are generally quite busy, and a tip that simply says clean out your basement doesn’t strike me as being terribly useful. The worst tip I saw was “Hang a wind chime between your home and electrical power lines….This cure disperses stress-producing EMFs that can clutter your environment…” That’s just wrong and a great disservice to gullible people who might believe it. You can’t disperse EMFs; you can only block them—and that takes a big, solid sheet of heavy metal. And EMFs don’t produce stress; they produce cancer. If you want a really good book on feng shui & clutter, read Karen Kingston.
